Why:
1. Singaporeans have to go through these factors when picking an outfit
-Die today weather so hot, how to wear like that??
-Wa... People sure stare like hell if i wear this
-Cannot la! Too short/transparent look like hooker!
-Huh... So or-biang(old fashion) how to wear?
-Eh! out of the trend already la still wear till like that
If we pass this round, we deserve a round of applause
2. We do not experience seasons, unless you count rain and shine seasons
So how are we to wear cool things like coats/vests/boots with the fur without making us look like idiots in Singapore? Even foreigners know this.
3. We simply feel better wearing flipflops
-We follow the flipflop trend eg the carpet, the clacker, the surfer, the complicated one
-Despite rain or shine we feel damn comfortable in it

Would i wear my PJs out?
Why not?
Its comfortable and light. I don't exactly own a PJ but i have dresses similar to it and its really cheap and definitely below budget.
All you gotta do is find a plain looking dress that costs below or better yet way below your budget and viola! it bcomes a PJ!
